A Late Early Permian Phaeophycean Fossil from the Maokou Formation in the Boundary Area Hunan and Hubei Provinces

Abstract: abstract The phaeophycean fossil, Quasifucus sp., reported in this paper is collected from the Upper Member, siliceous mudstone bearing-bone, of the late Early Permian Maokou Formation located at the boundary of Hunan and Hubei Provinces.   It’s considered that Phaeophycean is possibly the original materials of bone-coal.
