Abstract: The optimal time of embryos of Viburnum lantana for culture in vitro is the period of late Angust-early September during which the highest break rate of the embryos was found. The basic medium consists of Murashige and Skoog (MS), The Shoots were transferred for multiplication to the medium supplemented with 0.5mg/L BA, 5.0mg/L 2ip and 0.5mg/L ZT. In 6-7 weeks, shoot of 12-15mm in height were subcultured on 1/2 MS medium with addition of 0.2mg/L IBA and roots grow out 10 days later. After 15 days, plantlets were potted in soil of sand and peat (v/v=311) and interval misted in full sun light, plantlets accustomed to the normal growing condition after a week. The survial rate was 80%.
