Investigation of the Old Trees of Ginkgo in Tangshan and Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province, China

Abstract: The investigation of more than 2000 years old trees of Ginkgo in Tangshan and Qinhuangdao regions indicates that there are 15 old trees of Ginkgo, one male tree and fourteen female trees, in the vicinity of the north latitude 40°, close to the Great Wall. They are growing in three sites, i.e. Zunhua city, Qian'an city and Funing county and classified to horse bell-typed,long kernel-typed and Buddhas hand-typed Ginkgo respectively.
