Abstract: This paper deals with the development of the ovules, endosperms and embryos of “Early-muscat” and “Neo-muscat”. The results were as follows: (3-days after anthesis) The ovules of the two cuhivars began to grow .quickly. Their final sizes depended on the ripening-time of the cultivars. (33 days after anthosis) The endosperms became cell. The zygotes didn’t divide until 16-21 days after anthesis. When the nucelli were filled with endosperms, the embryos began to develop quickly and continued until the ripeniog of the fruit. The development of embryos had no obvious competition with the development of their fruit.
