NOTES ON "KOU MO"EDIBLE MUSHROOMS

Abstract: This paper traces the original provenance of Chinese name of the genus Tricholoma (E. M. Fries) Staude,deals with 15 secies being included in the Chinese local term "Kou Mo", among of them Leucopaxillus lepistoides (Maire) Sing. and Agaricud edulis (Vitt.) Moeller et J. Schaeffer are new to China, discusses the taxonomic problems of Tricholoma mongolicum Imai and puts forword that names of Nemecomyces mongolicum Pilat and N. genezaretius Pilat shouldn / t be used as synonyms for this species. All specimen cited in this paper are deposited in the Cryptogamic Herbarium, Kunming Institute of Botany, Academia Sinica(HKAS).
