Abstract: Two new diterpenoids having an ent -kaurene-skeleton, glaucocalyxin A and B, have been isolated from the ethereal extract of the leaves of Rabdosia japonica (Burm. f. ) Hara var. glaucocalyx .(Maxim. ) Hara (Labiatae) collected in the Northeast 0f China. Their structures were established (7R, 14R)-ent-7, 14-dihy- droxy -(- ) -kaur-16-en-3, 15-dione (I ) and its 14-monoacetate, (II) by spec- troscopic and chemical evidences, respectively.
