New Records of Ellisembia, Penzigomyces, Sporidesmium and Repetophragma Species on Bamboo from China

Abstract: During a diversity survey of bambusicolous fungi in Hong Kong and Yunnan, many hyphomycete specimens were collected in 1998~1999. Among them, 11 new records including two new combinations of Ellisembia, Penzigomyces and Sporidesmium species from Hong Kong and Yunnan are reported here. They are Ellisembia bambusicola (new combination), E. coronata, E. pseudoseptata (new combination), Penzigomyces uapacae, Repetophragma subulata, Sporidesmium ehrengergii, S. eucalypti, S. eupatoriicola, S. fragilissimium, S. penzigii and S. verrucisporium.
