A STUDY ON EPIPHYLLOUS LIVERWORTS FROM BABAOSHAN, GUANGDONG

Abstract: 27 species of epiphyllous liverworts, belonging to 17 genera and 6 families, have been found in Babaoshan, Guangdong Prov., South China. Among them, Pedinolejeunea liukiuensis is a new record of liverworts to Mainland China. Heteroscyphus planus is a new re-cord of epiphyllous liverworts. Pedinolejeunea rotundilobula endemic to Hainan Island pre-viously has also been found. Radula acuminata, Leptolejeunea ellipticasind Cololejeunea spinosa are the dominant species of epiphyllous liverworts in Babaoshan.
