Abstract: These specimens collected by authors in Yunnan Province since 1980 have proved im-possible to match with any species already described. Furthermore they cannot be accommodated in any known genus within the subtribe Saccharinae. It is therefore described here as a new genus and species Rubimons poniculatus.
