In this paper, the airborne spores and pollen grains during 1987-1989 in Kunming are reported. The samples were collected from higher (24 and 14.7 m) and lower (2 m) above sea levels. The peaks of spores and pollen grains occur in Spring (1-4 monthes) and Autumn (9-11 monthes) in this city. The relationships among the quantity of airborne pollen and cli-mate and the pollen quantity from higher and lower levels are discussed. Some good results have been obtained for treatment of allergenic diseases by using the fluid extracts of pollen grains.
