Abstract: The oil content of Scleropyrum wallichianum is 37.7%. Two acetylenic acids octadec-9-ynoic and 17-octadecen-9-ynoic acids were separated and identified by chemical modification in MS and 'H NMR, "C NMR. The other eleven fatty acids decanoic, lauric, palmitic, stearic, arachdic, behenic, hexadecenoic, oleic, eicosenoic, erucic, linoleic acids were determined.
