Abstract: Five new steroidal alkaloids have been isolated from Buxus bodinieri Levl., a common ornamental in South-China. On the basis of IR, UV,MS,NMR spectral analyses and chemical evidence, the chemical structure of these new steroidal alkaloids were deducted as.
