The expression levels of WRKY2 in leaves were the highest in all tissues. The expression profile indicated that the expression levels of WRKY2 were elevated by NaCl and mannitol treatments, while which were not induced by other treatments including KCl , LiCl , CaCl2 , NaH2 PO4 , pathogenic germs , cold , heat and ABA . These results suggested that WRKY2 might be involved in osmotic stress induced by NaCl and mannitol .
