In this experiment, we have successfully isolated and identified maytansine (I), maytanprine (II) and maytanbutine (III) from Maytenus austroyunnan- ensis S. J. Pei & Y. H. Li. and M. berberoides (W. W. Sm) S. J. Pei & Y. H. Li. respectively in this way.
