Abstract: The pollen grains of 13 species representing 9 genera of Flacourtiaceae were examined by light microscopy and scanning electron microscopy. These related genera have fairly similar in pollen shape (prolatespheroidal) and tricolporate, though Hydnocarpus with indistinctly tricolporate. The pollen exine sculptures can be divided into 4 types:foveolate, finely reticulate, coarsely reticulate and perforate.Pollen morphology plays a certain role in the circumscription of among related families and different genera.
