Abstract: Most plants of Pachysandreae ( Buxaceae ) , such as Sarcococca ruscifolia Stapf and Pachysandra axillaris Franch, have been used as medicinal herbs in Chinese folk for the treatments of stomach troubles, rheumatalgiaes, stanch bleedings, detumescences etc..
