Abstract: From the roots of Gentiana macrophylla, a new secoiridoid glycoside, qinjiaoside A, has been isolated along with gentiopicroside and harpagoside as well as daucosterol and β-sitosterol-3-O-gentiobioside. Their structures were elucidated by means of spectral methods.
