Abstract: The genus Mastixia Bl. of China is revised in the present paper. The name Mastixia caudatilimba C.Y.Wu ex Soong is considered as a synonym of Mastixia euonymoides Prain. The species M. alternifolia Merr. et Chun in T.P.Song's work (1982) is evidently conspecific with M. cambodiana Pierre and the fore combination name M.pentandra Bl. ssp. cambodiana (Pierre) Matthew (1976) is accepted as the reasonable one. Furthermore, the species M. chinensis Merr. in T.P. Song's work is also restored to subspecific rank as M.pentandra Bl. subsp.chinensis (Merr.) Matthew (1976).
