Abstract: Two new arborane type triterpenoids, rubiarbonol G (1) and rubiarbonone A (2), to-gether with rubiarbonol A, were isolated from the roots of Rubia yunnanensis Diels. Their structures were elucidated as 19a-acetoxy-3/?, 1p, 28-trihydroxy-arbor-9 (11) -ene and 19a-acetoxy-7^, 28-dihydroxyarbor-9 (11) -en-3-one by spectral and chemical methods, respectively.
