ON THE TYPICATION OF TWO SPECIES IN THE GENUS REMUSATIA (ARACEAE)

Abstract: The genus Remusatia Schott (Araceae),corrently, includes three species; R. viuipara (Lodd.) Schott, R. hookeriana Schott and R. ornata (Schott) H. Li et Q. F. Guo. 1. Gonatanthus (?) (sic) ornatus Schott should be placed under the genus Remusatia. The specimens collected from Yunnan: S. K. Wu 8637(KUN), R. C. Ching 24875 (KUN, PE, SCBI),D. D. Tao 364(KUN),895(KUN) with bulbi-ferous shoots and bulbils are not different from (7. ornatus, it described by Krause in 1920. After having examined all of the morphological characters of the inflores-cences and much branched bulbiferous shoots of the collection from Yunnan (Q. F. Guo 1103, KUN) we have decided that Gonatanthus(?) ornatus Schott..
