Abstract: The generic limits of Cylindrokelupha Kosterm. (Mimosaceae) is briefly discussed. The genus Cylindrokelupha has characteristic and stable features, such as cylindric or subcylindric and straight pods -with thick valves and bigger seeds, the cylindric or subcy-lindric and turbinate-truncate seeds occupying the entire cavity of the pod etc. It is not proper to merge the genus into another (such as Archidendron and Albizia). A key to 10 species including ] new species (C. xichouensis C. Chen & H. Sun) and 1 new record (C. laoticum (Gagnep.) C. Chen & H. Sun) of China CyUndrokelupha is presented.
