Abstract: Abstract After chemical treatment of Jojoba oil, analyses of GC and GC/MS were made for determining the composition of the oil. The result shows no difference from that reported by Thomas K Miwa, Double bond positions of the fatty acids have been elaborated by means of "remote functional group modification" . The Jojoba oil contains mainly the following percentages of fatty acids and fatty alcohol. Fatty acids (%); Hexadec-7C-enoic 0.07-0.1,Octadec-9C-enoic 3.73- 5.92, Eicos-11C-enoic 37.09-38.83, Docos-13C-enoic 7.09-9.29, Tetracos-15C-enoic 0.62-1.11; Fatty alcohol(%); Octadecenoic alcohol 0.21-0.24, Eicosenoic alcohol 16.15-22.07, Docosenoic alcohol 19.93-23.09, Tetracosenoic alcohol 2.96-4.96.
