Abstract: Aastract This article reports the structures of two sapogenins of crude sapo- genin from Tupistra aurantiaca Wall et Backer. Sapogenin F was identified as △25 (27 )-pentrogenin (2 ). Sapogenin E, named ranmogenin D, is new compound. Its structure was cstablished as (1 ) by the spectroscopic studies..
