tR,K′,α,Rs of oridonin, ponicidin,ludonin A,xindongnin A,lushanrubescensin A,adenathin, kamebakaurin and kanebacetal-A from Rabdosia diterpinoids were detemined by HPLC method.The analysis condi-tions are as follows :Shimadzu lnstrumemt LX-4A, column zorbax ODS 250 m m x 4.6 m m; mobile phase, methanol-warer (68 ;32);flow rate,0.58 ,ml/min;pressure, 170 kg/cm2;detector,SPD-2AS wave 254 nm.The results show that the method is quick and sinple.

A new diterpenoid, lushanrudescensin D,which is a minor component,was isolated from the leaves of Rabdosina rubescens Hara f. lu-shanensis Gao et Li(Labiatae) and its tructure was established as ent-2α,6β,11β-trihydroxy-3α-acetoxy-16pkauren-15-one from spectral and chemical evidence.

This paper shows the chenical constituents of the essential oil from Limnophila rugosa (Roth)Mwrr.By the aid of PGC,GC-MS and IR, the following components have been separated and identified; linalool (0.08%),estragole (21.94%),cis-anethole (0.03%),anisaldehyde (0.05%),trans-anethole (76.39%),anisyl acetine (0.03%),caryophyllene (0.08%),hu-mulene (0,15%)and α- bulnesene (0,01%0.This incestigation will provide scientific basis for futher development and utilization of the essential oil of Limno phila rugosa.

The present paper reports the light germination testson the seeds of 24 speeies of Rhododendron. The main conclusions are as follows: The seede of Rhkododendron. are light-requiring seed .Germination of all the seeds needs ligh,if the seeds are tested in darkness, the germination percent will be almost zero. Germination of Rhododendron seeds is controlled by phytochrome.Red light promotes the germination.The promotning effect qulity of the last irradiation.

This paper indicates the effects of hormone, light, temperature and time of incubation on anthocyanin contint in plantlets of Begonia fimbri-stipula Hance on uitro.NAA of concentration from 0.125 mg/l to 1.0 mg/l could increased anthocyanin content,0.125 mg/l had the best effect.BA,2ip, ZT decreased anthocyanin content. The present paper deals with the classification and distriburion of the genus lsometrum Craib (gesmeriacece_____Cyrtandroion) and its rela-tionship with the genus Ancylostemon.The genus under discussion is endemic to China,consisting of ll species (incl.4 new species,one new combination and 2 new varieties)which are grouped into two sections.lts area is rather small,confined to northwestern to eastern Sichuan, the Qinling Range,Daba Range and the mountainous region of western Hubei,with the concentration in northwestern Sichuan. Most species grow on shady and moist rocks and cliffs at the altitude of 500--2000 m,but one or two species occur at the altitude of 2200-2800 m,sometimes even up to 3900 m alt.
